Opening Hours and Days: The typical working week is Sunday through Thursday. Business hours in the private sector are typically 8:00 AM- 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM- 6:00 PM. Shops usually open from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and then from 4:00 PM to 10 or 11 PM, seven days a week, except Fridays, when they open after 4:00 PM. Government offices and most businesses have shortened hours during the month of Ramadan.
