Frequently asked questions about the International Trade Portal

In order to use the services available on the International Trade Portal, you must register for an account.

You can register through the link at the top right-hand section of the website, or by clicking here and providing the requested details. An email link will then be sent to you in order to complete your profile. Access will be available immediately afterwards.

If you can't remember your password, please use the 'Forgotten Password' option to reset it. Your username is the email address you used when registering. If you continue to have issues, contact us for assistance using this short form.

Yes - you are able to amend your personal details via the 'Modify my profile' tab. This can be accessed by clicking on My Profile at the top right-hand side of the homepage when logged in to the Portal.

Each user will have an inbox for messages for the International Trade Portal Help Team, under the 'My Messages' tab of their account. This can be accessed by clicking on My Profile at the top right-hand side of the homepage when logged in to the Portal.

You can set up alerts in order to be notified when there have been additions or amendments to reports that you're interested in. You can create up to five alerts at any one time.

You can configure these alerts under the 'My Alerts' tab of your account, accessed by clicking on your username at the top of right-hand side of the homepage when logged in to the Portal.

Alternatively, you can create an alert from the 'Business Alerts' or 'Industry Alerts' pages.

Your personal and business information will be used in accordance with the Terms of Use accepted at registration.

Although we do not provide an option to delete your account, if you wish to cease using the portal prior at any point, please contact us using this short form.

If you're a client of the bank, then you will need to liaise with your Relationship Manager if you wish to have your details removed from the Portal's database.

The products and services are organized by the Standard International Trade Classification, which sorts items traded internationally. You can find the complete list here.
